Mr Nagnath Padampalle a
hardworking farmer at Umraj, a remote village in Taluka Kandhar, Dist Nanded owns
7 acres dry land. He used to harvest his
crop only on 4 acres. The rest of the 3
acre land was infertile and had no irrigation facility.
But,
now his conditions are changed as the institution’s watershed facilities reached
to his land. The work is still in progress at the place with the allied efforts
NABARD.
Due
to the project, The water level in the well in the farm increased. Therefore,
he planted 3500 banana plants that flourished plentiful. The farmer has extended his gratefulness
towards institution's services and technical help for the plantation, from KVK
at Sagroli.
